Community Leadership

Co-President & Webmaster – Balalaika and Domra Association of America (BDAA)

The BDAA is a nation-wide non-profit that promotes the playing and legacy of Eastern European (Slavic) folk music in the US. Over the last 50 years, we have recruited hundreds of active members & musicians into our organization. Our goal is to introduce people to the rich musical tradition of Eastern Europe and create resources for members to learn more about the balalaika, domra, bayan, and folk song & dance, and to connect with others with similar musical interests.

Board Member – Home Grown Food Colorado

Home Grown Food Colorado is a non-profit that supports and inspires individuals to develop and sustain organic food-producing gardens in backyards and on private or public land in order to make food growing accessible and affordable for everyone to work towards locally-derived food security. We collaborate with master gardeners to educate our community on growing, gardening, and native plants at local scales.
